I wonder if these will bring down the cost and availability of the 680? I am still a couple of weeks away from picking up a card and monitor hopefully things will even out a bit by then.

Fudzilla also reporting a retail price of $399, the pricing is said to "put pressure on amd's 7970 and 7950 cards"

I'm thinking the price is going to be higher than a 7950 but lower than a 7970.

Retailing for around £260 in Malaysia too for a leadtek oc version.

$412 pre orders are already listed on US websites for the Gigabyte Windforce!

Should be under £350, probably £330-£340 for the windforce, £310-£320 for the referrence.

Now If I hadnt bought an I7 980 and 512 Gb SSD last year, I could have bought three of these now instead of just one .... But I only need one for 1200p :p

I'm also wondering what else will be available at launch. We know we have ~200 windforce cards up for grabs, presumably along with some refernce cards. But what other non-reference cards will there be on launch day and how will these stack up against the windforce?

It shouldnt really be £350 though, it should be £330-£340 for the gigabyte, £310-£320 for the reference.

But as always we have to pay even more on top of the item cost and taxes in the UK :(

I'll be shopping around for the gigabyte and getting the lowest price I can find.
