***Official GTX 670 thread***

I got the Galaxy GTX 670 GC

I checked too, and the KAF2's just got the two. That's nuts.

Galaxy has an overclocking tool, but not sure how good it is.

Thats fine then, you got a different brand, but the same card :)

Ooer... Confusing!

I'm going to Fire off an email to kfa abou their warranty.

Its not confusing really, he got a Galaxy not a KFA2. He must be living outside of the EU.

Im in the market to replace my 5870 1gig. In two minds about a 670 or 680. Considering i upgrade every 2 odd years i wonder if its worth while getting the 680 just so that it last that period of time. The fisher price pcb on the vanilla 670 is putting me of and the large size pcb cards are too close for my liking in price to a 680. So in other words a bit of help lol.

Because of the Kepler shortage? Ref boards seem to be dropping slightly
where I bought my card from the price on the Gigabyte just went up $10

@elmuzzy66.

The 670, and 680 are so close that you wouldnt get any extra out of the 680.

I just sold my 5870 for 150 Canadian, after having it almost three years.

In exactly the same boat mate, I'm mainly wondering what reference 680s are like in relation to the windforce. No chance I could afford the 4gb 680 though

True, but what are the chances? :p

All this batch seem to OC really well; what if you get a better one?!

Not true for all GB WF.

Mine wont go above 1264 and if I add +100 to memory to that it crashes a gameplay of bf3

as of now my GB WF is running at +100 core and +0 memory

I would think the reason the heatsink is so small is because the pcb is smaller and the power area of the card has been moved from the right to the left.

Nope, thats definitely no excuse, they could have clearly designed a better bigger heatsink.
The only explanation is its a severe cost cutting exorcize.
