Love the look of the reference cards. They remind me soo much of my old XFX 4850 card .

It's so we can kid ourselves that this is a high end card and not the GTX 650 rebranded

GTX 650 = GTX 670
GTX 660/670 Ti = GTX 680
GTX 680 = (GK110 GTX 685?)

Kepler is a beast of an arch where a re badged mid range card can occupy the high end space and beat AMD's best. Likewise it is a bit of embarrsement for AMD that the GTX 670, tiny lil card can beat it's top 7970 card.

At least the 79XX series should see more price reductions soon though, the GTX 670 is more appealing than any AMD card atm imho.

Hmm, it would be daft if they had to launch a 670 and then 9months later the 680 finally arrives! I don't believe they could ever have branded it like that with the GK110 a dot on the horizon

£330 to £340 = OCuk

£345 to £380 = everything else

How much will the price of the 670 go down by after release, lets say a month or two?

Almost impossible to answer that. A lot depends on what ati bring to the table if ati bring a good card out then expect drops on prices. But atm nvidia have the best cards and have no reason to lower the prices.

Will also depend on whether or not Nvidia will be able to keep up their supply-side - fewer cards to go around - prices will stay the same or go up

Or do you think the OCuk "branded" one is going to cost more than Asus, Evga, Gigabyte, MSI reference cards?

Damn, I will be buying as many OC cards as possible for <£135

Hehe. <£320 for a reference design EVGA card is mighty tempting. I'll be expecting £329.99 for OcUK (cheapest one), £349.99 for EVGA/MSI/Gigabyte etc reference and £369.99-379.99 for Gigabyte Windforce/KFA2 with long PCB and decent coolers.
