****Official GTX580 user reviews/benchmarking/overclocking thread****

Yeah man, with maximum dpeth it does make you feel like you're underwater. Everything just snaps into focus when you have the right depth, it is impressive.

I'm gonna wait for some bigger 3D screens (27"-30") before I wade in. (or can I wait?!) :p

Stop tempting me!! :p

You know you won't be able to :p

Just got my EVGA GTX 580 installed and up and running ... been awhile since I have used the green side so still tinkering (last NV card was a 9800GT)

Call me mad , insane or plain daft but this is an upgrade from a 5870 which is going in my 2nd rig but hell cant take the money with ya when you pop ya cloggs and ill be fudged if I leave any to my family :D

anyone want a bench using 980X @ 4.1Ghz let me know which bench and I will see if I can oblige but dont expect me to run everything going :P

Ok guys, need some advice.
I've installed the new PSU (no easy task that) and all is well so far - on to the 580 next.
But, what shall I do with the old 8800GTX, use as physx or dump it? Not concerned about power, so does it gain me much as a physx unit?

(P.S. previously I stated I was running Q6600 somewhere around 3.2GHz - after closer inspection its closer to 3.5 and solid as a rock)

Sell it or keep as spare, the 580 is more than powerful enough to handle the physx in all current physx titles.
