It’s not on PS5. I thought the same tbh the FOV is pretty close. It might be an option on PC.
It was mentioned in a review, tbh I wouldn't be surprised if they update it because I've never seen a PS5 game with such a wealth of visual adjustments so far, feels like something more akin to PC options. I turned off motion blur, and have it on Fidelity with RT, my TV's interpolation gaming mode helps smooths things out alittle. It doesn't feel choppy at-all.
Very nice looking game, considering it's has large complex environments it's probably one of the best I've seen to date. Played an hour tonight, would say I'm very impressed with the production values, the music really brings it alive, feels very much like the movies in terms of mood, intrigue, not some awful Avengers cash grab nightmare.

Wonder if there will be a day 1 patch, as the framerate is a stutter fest with uncapped frame rate in fidelity mode on PS5.
Thats with a capable VRR display.
With capped frame rate it’s smooth as silk though in fidelity mode, I may try balanced tomorrow as that seems a popular mode to use, reading about.

As someone who’s new to the world of buying digital copies
What are the chances of it dropping in price quite quickly for Xbox Series post release?
Or do I just take the plunge now at £60 for Deluxe edition?
Not bought a console game in years so the price is telling me no, but I’m now in possession of a series s.
I wanna play it but I don’t know if I want it that much I think I can wait

It's literally just out ...
I'm sure it will drop in price at some point, but probably not for a few months yet.
Yeah, I'm finding balanced mode to be a much more fluid experience.
I’ll probably end up plunging tomorrow.
Just wanted to see if it’s one of those where prices are jacked up prior to release then they drop to more sensible price, in the days after.
Almost like it's a balance of fidelity and performance, unlike fidelity mode.
I found balanced a bit juddery. Might try it again with it unlocked see if VRR tidies it up a bit.
Really enjoying the game though the detail is fantastic it’s definitely been a labour of love for the Devs.

Agreed. It's a Harry Potter fan's dream with all the easter eggs, details etc.

So far unlocked is fine for me in balanced mode on my lg cx. Getting 50s framerate.

Only just finished intro, but apparently Hogwarts interior is one of the best if not the best ever created in a game for its detail and exploration, from what I'm reading. Can't wait to explore when I get some more free time.
I have turned off the mini map as I want to explore freely and get lost in this world without constantly looking at mini map on screen.

I am several 'game days' into this now, have my broom and found the
I still get lost in Hogwarts but I'm starting to get a feeling for my way around now - the floo network certainly makes things easier.
It's a great game and I feel I'm barely into the storyline.

Has anyone had the game crash constantly, making it unplayable?
I have tried reinstalling, factory resetting the console, deleting the cache, removing external HDD etc.
I completed the tutorial, but as soon as I finished charms class, it plays for around 2 minutes and either boots me out or crashes the console.
Other games work flawlessly. This seems to be a minority issue after searching Google, but I can not play.
Bought due to peer pressure, as I'm usually burned on release day games. Should've known better haha!

Day one patch coming on release day on Friday.
Not had a crash on PS5 yet. Had a few wonky textures and on one load my wizard was not showing but a reload fixed it.
