** Official Horizon: Forbidden West Complete Edition Thread **

Those Rockbreakers are tough work, although I had a strong nostalgic sense of the movie Tremors during this fight, anyone else?

Release the inner Kevin Bacon!

I also did the Tallneck in the Vegas sands, that was tough work with the two rounds of machines that come your way whilst you try to anchor the Tallneck.

OMG. I literally just killed my first breaker moments ago and thought the same :D

Judging by your video I am in the exact same area.

I just blew open the tunnel to go to the other side. Wonder what's behind the door with the code?

What are you doing gaming at this hour!

Oh I've gone back to the main mission now and am about to dive under the water thanks to the help of those 3 guys you meet who are quite the characters :D

The people you meet along the way really are interesting, makes you want to watch the full cutscenes as the dialogue is often funny.

I actually woke up early. Better get some gaming in before everyone wakes up :D

Yeah, the game is a lot of fun. Not sure what Noxia was on about to be honest :p

Yeah I'm the only person on the internet who thought it was boring.
You know how it is, McDonald's caters for a certain audience too :p

The dust devils are very impressive in motion, but screenshot them and it becomes apparent why they are impressive, the geometry of the particles is very... spritely shall we say when you look 100%...

That one I did on Friday I think.

There is one more I visited but it's locked. I guess I need to get a certain ability that would allow me to climb it.

I'm level 19, you're higher levels because you've done lots of side stuff it seems, I've just got the Guardian Tripcaster after completing the submerged quest to get the 3 keys and then go back to the 2 dudes to then craft it. That was a fun few hours

Also, it's the combat that keeps it saying fun, the fast machines are rather dynamic and taking them out with an explosive spike is always satisfying:

Here is my progress so far. Though I doubt I will get much game time during the week now :(

:o

Interestingly Steam says 32 hours playtime, but the game says 22 hours, so which is right I don't know. Does the game only count mission time instead of side stuff?

I see you're going for brute force and just blowing everything off rather than precision and choosing your targets. Have you got/tried the shredder gauntlets yet?
I haven't got those yet, interesting, looks like I need to find the NPC that starts me on that gig then. But yes with the explosive spike it's all about brute force, I want to see the machine rough and tumble as the spike explodes and eventually takes it down :D

Does the snow trail you make in RDR2 replenish as fresh snow falls? I didn't notice this at first as thought that the game just removes your trails, but it looks like not only do sand tracks get covered up by the sand winds around, but also your snow tracks get covered by falling snow!
