If only the government looked at this rather than constantly favouring/choosing BT (even though there products are vastly inferior - FTTC is NOT future-proof) - *sigh*.
Great news regarding your property
Hyperoptic is currently working with your development to bring you the UK's fastest fibre broadband service
I got a letter through the post yesterday from HO
My jaw nearly hit the floor when I read the letter
I registered interest in Sept of last year. My building is an old pub converted into 6 flats. The area has just had BT Infintity enabled at the street cabinets, but my building is exchange only, so Im not able to get that.
Not sure how long it'll take to actually get HO installed.....
Yeah it looks like I have around 2 weeks also from speaking to the engineer on the premises, another team will come in after these guys have finished installing the cables.
I'm also with sky but will cancel once i received confirmation the faceplate from HO can be installed in the property, in your case you may be able to pay sky a small fee to break the contract if your within your initial 12 months.
Lacky how much are you paying for your 100Meg ? you may received an offer if you've not done so already giving you the option of 12 months HO bb with the phone line half price for the 100Meg and the 1Gig.
In swden the avg homeless person has access to internet and 70% of the time it's faster than 120 meg. In Stockhelm I remeber a man on the street his phone was doing 98mB/s seeding and I was like WHOA then he pinged me using musclurping 126.134.13.1 -tilldeath
.... normally it wont work but musclur ping took out my router, burnt my amp and blow the phone line. Thier Fibre is pure glass man, it's proper moce - we get ugly stuff - Swedens Phone line test freaks had a 21 year old lad getting 0.8tB/s DOWN/UP COMBINED winning using a line bond.
What's faster than light??
A sweden
So now Hyperoptic are definitely coming to Liverpool, Manchester etc... Does anyone have any ideas on what kind of rollout we can expect? Is this liable to be restricted to a couple of not-yet-built blocks of flats or would they install to existing infrastructure?
We're in a new build on an estate that's only half built. Work is still ongoing on the rest of the houses (a row of bungalows sprung up opposite us last week), and the estate is pre-laid with fibre and cable ducting. I'm half hoping they install to our development (I registered interest ages ago), but I'd honestly consider moving house if needs be.
I *need* symmetric 1Gbps.![]()
