lol, its computer generated, thats not good, look at football manager and how retarded some of the things it decides are.
Likewise, if you see how completing a pass in a certain area gets you more points. How often do you see Song/Diaby pass it 5 yards to each other, about 50 times right outside the box without going anywhere. While Fabregas/Xavi/Iniesta constantly try the more difficult incisive passing that obviously won't get through as often, but they are penalised for that and not gaining points for useless ineffective passing. Basically the entire Castrol Index is an utter joke.
However, Sorenson has been in superb form this season, his penalty saving put aside, largely because Cesc, Lampard and was it one other, all took the worst penalties of their careers, he's been solid as rock the rest of the season. He's top in the Bud Premier league fantasy football stats, based on bonus points for great games, number of saves and not conceding too many too often. Though he gets to save more often, as the defence is worse and a team that trys to absorb pressure. Who did Liverpool lose 2-0 to, Pompie with the two unstoppable shots, but it wasn't a game he saved 30 shots and let 2 in, he let in the 2 chances of the game which makes his performance appear awful.
None of the index's are that useful as the people that come up with them have their own idea about whats good football and whats not. One index will heap points on a back 4 that just passes it back and forth without pushing it forwards, another will punish them for being negative and the team not creating chances. One will give points for a completed pass if it touches a player on their team, even if its blasted in and he loses posession a split second later as it was uncontrollable, another will take points off for an incomplete pass that was an inch away from creating a tap in goal and it was the other players fault he didn't get to it. Index's mean smeg all.
Randall has gone on loan to MK Dons, will be interesting to see where he's played, for years with us he was basically a Cesc position type, but the past year or two we seem to be turning the skinny lad into a midfield enforcer, which he seems pretty poor at. Can't see him lasting at Arsenal at all, no progression at all in the past 2-3 years.
