*** Official Kinect Thread ***

I've just taken all the games back, as I found out Supermarkets and Retail 'catalogue' stores are doing the games at more reasonable prices, e.g. Joyride £26.24..
But for Xmas pressies and immediate use, the order's so far are

Kinect Sports
Kinectimals (For my daughter for Xmas)
Joyride (For my son for Xmas)
Your shape (For the missus)
Kinect Adventures.

That's quite a bag of games really, and only just negated by the sale of the Wii.. I may get Dance Central if there is a demo out to try, it's not my thing, but if the kids/missus like it, that's another christmas pressie sorted!

I got it today and installed and then spend in the afternoon and yes it much fun to play, I would say it good one with hand-free as Wii/PS3 Move using remote control as Kinect is complete free to move also it helped my shoulder after has operation (removed 3 bones and 3 muscles) and still in 48 months recover process - this stuff would help me to keep moving more already pre-ordered for EA Sport Active Workout 2 that quite good for exercise.

It still good fun to play as I like the boxing and pin bowling...

so you wanted some sort of pc version of kinect to would allow you to say a word say play xyz track or film and it would start up that film/music track on your computer? i get where your coming from but i dont think kinect will be modded to allow that. i mean you'd need someone to create a driver for windows or whatever other operating system to detect all kinect's sensors. maybe im wrong and it will happen but you wouldn't be able to play kinect games either.. so the chances of someone doing all this work would be slim.
