The update is part of both so both show as updating.

It seems to have combined the update for those 2 so they download together. Not 3gb each thankfully.

Why would they do that, that could possibly result in a smooth update

This is the one thing that sucks big time with Valve updates.

My 50MB fibre optic line is currently speeding along at 183 bytes/sec.

Every update for L4D1 & 2 has been like this.

My download started as soon as it was released (about 6.30pm) and took 2 hours. Getting L4D1 now.

I've tried a myriad of locations and can't seem to get over 100kb/s normally they're around 60kb/s

Just restarted steam after changing download location, update changed from 3% done to 68%

The 10GB bug has happened before on another game maybe, it's actually the full size of the game + updates.
