**** Official LG G4 Discussion Thread ****

Im loving mine, i got it wednesday:)

The battery is ok, i get around 3 and a half hours SoT. I also got the quadbeats 3 headphones with mine (grey from CPW).
 
The wife had one Delivered on weds it's shockingly bad ! Awful Battery life Shoddy looking screen feels Meh ! I'ts boxed and going back to voda.

she is back to her i phones.

I love my Z3
 
Hmm.. so the headphones do vary.
I just phoned up CPW and they told me they don't include Quadbeat headphones with the phone. Strange that. I'll wait till mine arrives on Tuesday and see what's inside. I might return it and buy from Clove (also happens to be cheaper) just for the dang headphones XD Or I may visit the CPW store in town on Monday to check with them. Could be a discrepancy between stores. I hate it when phone manufacturers do things like this. Why can't they all be the same?
 
Been told that the G4 has been delivered. I won't be home until well late tonight but will report my findings possibly tomorrow or Monday.

The battery better be decent on this thing otherwise it's going back!

Mike I'll give you a verdict of how it compares to the current champ Z3

Quadbeat 3 headphones supplied with my phone as well bought via Amazon

Just setting up the phone. First impressions - very very nice. I have the Gold version and it looks lovely. It's not gold but a dirty gold slightly subdued.

Nice screen and ergonomic suprisingly easy to hold one handed despite the screen size. Am liking it thus far in my brief 10 mins of play. Could the Z3 be out the window? Depends on the G4 battery life.

Mine came this morning. Brown leather back and came with plastic back as well. Really nice phone defiantly quicker and smoother. The leather back makes the phone feel far nicer and tje settle curve is also a nice improvement. Then screen is much brother but the colours don't seem as natural side by side but I'm sure when I'm used to it will be fine.

Still think it's strange that the phone doesn't support wireless charging out of the box. The phone does seem to take an age to charge up and to me seems to take longer than the G3.

If you could stay up all night to test that it'd be smashing ;) How good/bad is the speaker? I'm intrigued as its obviously rear facing compared to the z3 at the front!
 
The leather back is really nice but in all likelihood once / if a back comes out that supports wireless charging then I'll be getting one.
