From my understanding they cant actually legaly give you the dvd/s before release and only try their best to get it to you for release day.

So if the digital versions unlock on the night of the 27th 12:00-12:01 then people could get it in the morning or afternoon post. But if i unlocks at american time (10am est = 6pm here) woudnt expect deliviery till friday. Just my 2c

Cant even get the first one working on my pc properly so no point me getting this yet lol

Will need to have at least one play though under my belt of the first one before getting the 2nd.

That is awesome - wanted to do a full playthrough ME1 but cant bring myself to do it, great find!

Probably sounds a bit sad but I don't think I could bring myself to using someone elses save-game. I want to know that my character is the way it is as a result of decisions I've made, and I'm really looking forward to continuing her development in ME2.

After having reinstalled ME in readiness for ME2 I've noticed that my completed savegame char is only level 45 Looks like i'll be running through it at least once more.

Try it and find out, but i doubt it. It seems to open through Steam but it doesn't seem to be downloading through it, so you probably need it on your account. Would be a bit stupid if anyone could dl the steam version at any time, would seriously dig into Steams bandwidth since all a pirate would have to do is break the encryption and release the crack.
