Hey all,

So here I am, Finally got my account activated lol. Hello one and all I'm Th0rn0. So as you have heard I'll be dealing with any questions, information or support you may need to allow Mick and Steve to concentrate on what makes Mayhems so god dam good.

A little background information on me:

I've been a PC gamer ever since I got a Windows 95 rig in 1995/6 (Dont remember exactly, I was only 5 years old at the time). Grew up playing Quake 1. And then Quake 2. And then Quake 3 (see where I'm going with this?) I've even played semi professionally. Grew up playing a lot of Half life, HLDM, and Counter Strike (every version since 1.5). Since around 2002 I started attending Lan Parties and this is where my love for PC modding came to fruition. Ever since then I've been building and selling PCs for myself and clients.

Fast forward to about 3/4 years ago and I was introduced to the world of Mayhem's Aurora. All I'd seen until this point was crap, pale, colorless liquids that lost their color very quickly. Seeing the Aurora, I was blown away. Since then I've exclusively used Mayhem's Coolant in all of my personal and client systems. I'm a avid system builder and watercooling (as I'm sure most of you are) so any questions about either watercooling or the coolant just ask I'd be more than happy to help.

Morning Mayhems Rep :)

I recently purchased 3 litres of the gigabyte orange coolant. Built my system up all new radiators fittings etc thoroughly rinsed multiple times. It did not look quite as vivid as I expected and over the course of the next few days it turned a right nasty shade of pink.
I completely rinsed out the system and repeated the same thing again .... I hate pink :(

Help or advice much appreciated

Wonder if this is anything like the Mayhems pastel red. Few pages ago it was suggested its rather PH sensitive and can change colour if its wrong, advice was to flush rads with water with some bicarb of soda added.

May not be this mind.

It looks similar, my red went almost the same colour your orange has, and in the res i could see the dye separating after a few hours of it being turned off.

Hi there. please email me , [email protected] with pic of you invoice, your full name and address and telephone number and i will sort it out. There are several things that can be an issue being PH balance, did you flush the system, did you have copper sulfate in the build previous , is there flux left in the rad ect ect ect. How ever fire me an email with the details requested and ills end out some new stuff .

My Orange did the exact same thing which is why I removed it from my loop.
This occurred even after I adding a ton of extra colour to sort the initial problem I had with it looking like peach (which Mayhems did sort out for me).

I had an extra bottle spare but decided to not bother using it and stick with clear and might add some dye later.

That's it mine has turned the exact same insipid pink colour :D

All getting sorted since ToxicTBag is just a few miles up the road from me ive made him up some Pastel Orange and ill pop it over tonight and pick up his liquid so i can take a look at it and see what the issue is.

I cannot fault customer service like this, offering to bring me over coolant and some dyes the same day to my door. It was a pleasure to meet you and so much info and help to boot.
Will follow your guidance and repeat the process and let you know how I get on. Will have a run over one of these days and catch up.
Your business model is spot on and am looking forward to having a good read up on the range old and new!
Thank You :D

Some of the best customer service I've ever seen there. I've been a supporter of mayhems products for a very long time.

I started using mayhems dyes almost 3 years ago, Its great to see how far you have come from the thread on the Xs forums where it all began.

Have to let me know how you get on with the new stuff, i haven't got round to changing mine yet, need to get some DI water to flush after the bicarb clean.
