in our test systems we've had no problems but we cannot guarantee badly made products wont ruin tubing.

Well all I'll be using is your ultra pure h2o, your deep red dye and your biocide. So if that doesn't work correctly then I think I'll have to jump to acrylic.

Weve pulled the smaller size tubing it hasn't passed our QC, some ones going to get slapped hands. The 2 larger sizes are fine.

not too impressed with the purple dye.
the colour is great for a day or two but then it turns to a pinkish mush.
and my loop is clean and free of air bubbles

any idea as to why this could be due to?

I believe this is due to the pH balance being off, usually due to rads not being cleaned and flushed enough.

Ordered 30 metres of the tubing (really cheap!), haven't used it yet but it's nice and pliable.

Try using the Blitz cleaning kit (Basic).

One of the effect of Blitz cleaning kit is to neutralize the acidity in the loop and thus preserve the color of the coolants.

Are there any alternatives? Something I could use instead of the mayhems blitz kit?

Distilled Vinegar, just Google rad flushing with vinegar and you will find lots of information.
