Screenshots from the New flight sim on a I7 6800K, 32GB memory, 1TB Samsung 970 pro plus M.2 drive. ASUS X99-11a motherboard and a Asus Tuf OC RTX3080 with a 62 mb internet connection, the shots with the small frame rate box are at 4K settings on a 1080P TV using NVIDIA's software upscale, the larger boxes with the faster speeds are at 1080P are at the TV's native output. Either way they both are running really smoothly without any noticeably stuttering i can detect. everything is wound up to max IE ULTRA inc traffic except the one under TAA that is at 100. Still playing around with settings, had pixellation of the cloud edges but have sorted that.

Those shots look AWESOME, @ nutloose are those screenshots typical of what you see actually flying, can you post some shots flying over populated areas ( not necessarily a city ) .Maybe my expectations are far too high but I've seen a number of youtube videos where the texures are really blurry and it's put me off getting the sim at the moment, this is just one of them & thats with a 3080:

The problem is I've been looking at lots of fs2020 videos on my phone and have just recently started looking at them on my pc (full screen) and lots of the videos look really blurry, maybe it's because they are being compressed a lot for youtube.

Having said that this one looks damm fine :

Dai, have added some pictures as promised, same link. some are flying down the Thames at low level with the Orbx update for London and the Airport plus the river mod installed, some are of a US city and a load of Southampton, I Chose Southampton as that is one in the game they did their photo thing on....... some of the frame rates on these seem low at low level etc, they were, I hadn't updated my drivers on the PC etc, the last ones with the brown jet are Capetown and as you can see the frame rates are a heck of a lot better.......... hope they help, anything else you want to see just ask.

Di, They are what I see, the blurriness you sometimes have been seeing could be down to the settings they are using to get a decent frame rate, plus weather clouds haze etc.. in among my screenshots I have put my settings windows so you can see whats cranked up etc.

With all these enhancements available now is there any point in getting any version other than Standard instead of Deluxe or Premium Deluxe

I got the Premium Deluxe version because I wanted to fly the 737.

It comes with a bunch of other aircraft, but I couldn't tell you what they are if I'm honest.

The standard game is good as it is, just depends on the type of planes you want to fly.

I’m just surprised you never knew about the site. I can recommend Oxford airport, Edinburgh which gives you the castle and bridges etc, portreath a stones throw from Newquay airport that is RAF St Mawgan also superbly done. Wellsbourne with the Vulcan.
