Wow those shot look amazing ( I looked at all of them in that link ), love the ones flying down the Thames. Can I ask what hardware are you running this on ?
Am I right in thinking your CPU limited ?
 
Screenshots from the New flight sim on a I7 6800K, 32GB 2133 ddr4 memory, 1TB Samsung 970 pro plus M.2 drive. ASUS X99-11a motherboard and a Asus Tuf OC RTX3080 with a 62 mb internet connection and a Corsair RM850x power supply, the shots with the small frame rate box are at 4K settings on a 1080P TV using NVIDIA's software upscale, the larger boxes with the faster speeds are at 1080P are at the TV's native output. Either way they both are running really smoothly without any noticeably stuttering i can detect. everything is wound up to max IE ULTRA inc traffic except the one under TAA that is at 100. Still playing around with settings, had pixellation of the cloud edges but have sorted that.


Strangely dia it tends to flag up GPU limited or threadlocked? If you look on the images showing the frame rate it tells you just underneath what is limiting it, but it’s relatively smooth at that height, I have updated both the PC drivers and graphics so they have improved a bit, I’ve been playing around with settings, but that is what I see. I am going to do some wilderness stuff for someone so will upload them. I have ASUS shut down other programmes for gaming and haven’t tended to O C, pc has been running at performance.

Getting back into this now; only had a lowly Hades Canyon NUC to play this on back in Aug/September but was lucky to snag a 3080 this week; so completed my new build; Ryzen 5 - 3700X, MSI 3080 Gaming X Trio and 32GB of RAM - it looks stunning in 4K with everything set to "Ultra" although probably need to have a look around at recommended settings to make sure its optimal!
 
I've got fsx but dont get the time to play much so I'm on the fence about getting it..
If it's on sale this black Friday then I could be tempted ...

It's on Xbox game pass for PC if you want to try it out, various ways of getting it cheap, I think I pay £3.99 a month.
 
Just checked and they've put me up to £7.99. Seems £3.99 was beta.

Some people on the forum buy Brazilian versions for about £1 a month, obviously a lot better deal but not 100% as intended.

Might have to think about cancelling at £7.99 and just buy it on sale sometime as not playing any other games of Xbox game pass games at present, but definitely some good ones on the service I already played.
 
Just finished my first VA flight in an airliner. FlyByWire A32NX. Went prettymuch as expected except the ILS was quite a way off so I had to take over at the end. Might have been a few bounces on the way down. :D

airport isn’t that good at moment, will take some pics of Ashby, already did some of castle don as live there.
 
Uploaded some pictures of arrival at EMA flypast following the A4453 to picking up the A42 towards Ashby over Lount the and the dump to and around Ashby for you, some buildings will be different as autogen as opposed to photorealistic, but they will be there, see my link to my Flickr account to view them. It’s in the posts before this. See post 2972.
 
Double check your settings to ensure the photogrammetry streaming stuff is all enabled folks. Mine somehow wasn't :o and I put it down to low data for the area I was in...all enabled and looking much much better.
