**** Official Microsoft Flight Simulator Thread ****

Why has this uninstalled itself from my PC? It's the gamepass/ Microsoft store version, which I know is awful, but I have NEVER experienced a game uninstalling itself in my entire gaming life. What the actual **** is going on with that?!

This is terrible to watch. I had heard about it, but not seen the actual footage. I understand the fire crews were on a training exercise. Why did they enter the active runway though? No doubt a full investigation will ensue. This could have been much worse (SQ006). RIP to the fire crew who tragically lost their lives and well done to the remaining crews for responding and no doubt saving many lives, despite experiencing that and the loss of their colleagues/friends.

they were lucky indeed, if the fire truck had struck the plane up front this would end up in disaster
 
Hi everyone, does FS2020 support AMD FSR now? I am planning on upgrading to a high refresh 4k display soon, and don't plan on upgrading my 3080 to a 4080 as planned.. a 4090 maybe (although prob. not given the high price). However, I am interested in what RDNA 3 will offer and am interested in the upcoming RX 7900 series GPUs.

yes, gives me a bunch of frames, you do see some weird ghosting from certain bits of interface etc sometimes but barely notice

Thanks. I have recently started using DLSS with my 3080 and that has also increased the frames, I have had ghosting with that too though, mainly with glass flight instruments, e.g. the PFD in the PMDG 737. It does clear itself up and I think it's improved with the latest drivers/sim update.

Ive had it once but I was participating in the beta build and was a known issue because I didn't uninstall the test build before the official build went live.

Unusual to say the least other than that!
