@Aegis thanks. One more question do I need ethernet connection for best performance for MSFS or will it run ok over 5GHz wifi? The quest 2 will be connected via USB.
For streaming in data from Microsoft's servers, the minimum recommended speed is 5 Mbps - with 50 Mbps being 'ideal' - I don't know what your internet speed is but assuming you meet or exceed those requirements you should be good either way.@Aegis thanks. All the Airports across the world are in there.Yeah I think a steering wheel wouldn't work - it didn't occur to me at first but there would be no pitch control.
The Heathrow version is over £100. When it says you get X airport etc, if you don't have that airport does it mean you can't fly to it at all or is it there but in a more basic form?
Is Birmingham airport on it?

Some are Handcrafted by MS (Some good, some bad...)
Plenty of Payware stuff out there (Airports and Planes)
Be aware its an expensive habit with most Scenery costing anywhere between 10-30odd quid and Planes £20-100+
I have the Fenix A320, PMDG 737-600 and 800 as well as Concorde and the original CRJ package (Off the top of my head that's about £250) and 25ish Airports
Yeah I think the base game will be enough for me. I really just want to fly around in vr and control an airliner, and also learn about how air traffic control works.
Oh ok. That's a shame.the ATC is broken and terrible so you won't be learning much
Oh ok. That's a shame.
Are there emergency scenarios happen randomly in the SIM? So for example an engine fail or a gear failure, and you have to figure out how to solve it, or make a crash landing?
Yup. I’ve been an air traffic controller for over 20 years and can confirm that the ‘ATC’ in MSFS is complete garbage on every level.the ATC is broken and terrible so you won't be learning much

Does this disable the in game ATC when using vatsim?@danlightbulb have a look at VATSIM if you want proper ATC. @West , @!bluetonic! and I are members. There's probably loads more on here too.
I have the in game ATC permanently disabled as it's not realistic. But to answer your question, you'd need to disable in game ATC before connecting to the network. You'd also need to disable live traffic and that other setting which shows you other players in the game (I forget exactly what it's called). Again, I have these both permanently disabled.Does this disable the in game ATC when using vatsim?
DC Designs when it first come out I got it.Which Concorde do you have? - is it the D.C. Designs one I got from Just Flight (which is very good imo) or a different one that I’m not aware of?
Would advise disabling any AI/Static Traffic and ATC in game when using Vatsim.Does this disable the in game ATC when using vatsim?
Since moving from P3Dv4 to MSFS I've not looked back to be honest. I had plenty of addons with P3D (PMDG 737, 777, REX ORBX etc) so was a bit daunting to swap over to a completely vanilla sim (about a year after MSFS was released).New member here, and I will get this for my forthcoming pc but how does this compare to P3D?
P3D may not have the same graphics but seems to have better mods?
