So i setup pihole on my RB5009 router. i am able to navigate to the web ui but it does not seem to really block ads?

It seems as if it is not using the pihole dns? How do i point all traffic on my network to go through this DNS for pihole?

I dumped Pihole a long time ago for Adlist https://help.mikrotik.com/docs/spaces/ROS/pages/37748767/DNS#DNS-Adlist
Also using DoH https://help.mikrotik.com/docs/spaces/ROS/pages/37748767/DNS#DNS-DNSoverHTTPS(DoH)

How do you set this up? Is it a docker container that u install on the router?

No it's an option, they messed things up with the later versions, dissabled stuff in device-mode

Adlist is only in later versions in the dns tab just add this to your DNS Adlist Entry

Don't forget to up the cache size as well! 150MB maybe...
