Well I can't see me coming up with 20 bear pelts to get back in anyway - not seen any bears about and the one pelt I actually picked up I discarded long ago because it took up about 8 emcumberment points IIRC. Jail it is then!

Well i played it when i went to bed last night, and Harrow had all my stuff. Got it back obviously :) When i did it i just picked up the dagger from next to the book then killed everyone i could see, then took rula(?)'s staff and nailed everyone with that. To bruma i go!

How can i get rid of Vampirism?
Well if your lucky you can cure yourself before you get the full blown effect. Find a "cure disease" potion and take that or find a temple and receive a blessing. That should regenerate your stats and cure your vampirism.

I got infected with the vampire disease 4 times yesterday doing azura's quest but eating a clanfear talon or whatever its called got rid of it (used instantly ofc)

Also walking round in nearly full orcish armour with a orcish shield and elven longsword ^^
 
Vampirism (porphyric hemophilia) is a disease, not a poison. I don't have any cure disease potions. wish i had cos i can't get rid of the "shakes", ehich I contracted while exploring another cave. I've not tried the chapel yet, I'll try that later.
 
If you ARE a vampire, and are dying when going outside, the church won't help. You're already a sinner.

There is a cure, it's a quest in itself, and take ages to do it.

Yeah you should be fine, find a cure fast though. Although some of the attributes of the vampire are actually pretty damn good! :)
 
Wow just got the horse Shadowmere for completing the dark brotherhood quests

such a difference compared to the painted horse i got at the start
 
Is there a message that somes up saying you get bit by a vampire? Or can you just see someone come and suck your blood?

(just got the game last night, don't want to waste time with being a vampire)

Yeah I was rather dissapointed when I cured myself, lost quite a few stats :p Although melting in daylight was a bit of a drawback :)

That fine horse is an absolute God-send! Those evil red eyes are definatly quite apt for the horse!

The guy that you talk to has a cupboard next to him that contain some, so I think you can chuck the ones you have a pick up some more when you want.

I just dumped mine in the cupboard next to the guy who lets you have matches until I needed it lol
