Yeah - you'll need a detector rail a few blocks in front of the door with a bit of wire running into the circuit that's already there - it's easy enough to do - just be a bit wary of the wiring that's already there :)
 
Got a couple of questions about the Resonant Rise server 5punk3monk3y, first off what are the rules with mystcraft ages? Are we allowed to create our own/is there a dedicated mining age again? Are quarries allowed?

And secondly (aimed at anyone on the RR server) is there a plan for dealing with the enderdragon? I'd quite like to be involved if there is some sort of event.

Does anyone else still play on the Monster server? I've not seen anyone else online for a long time now... perhaps a map wipe might be in order, I'm bored of the same scenery and have traveled about a lot on the map...

i have just gotten my system mostly restored.

Thanks for asking, I'm sure Yrth will be able to answer the questions.

It looks like I won't be around much at the moment. Not going to have access to a computer from about now till Monday night at the earliest and with a hangover from hell I don't think I will be much use ha ha :p got way too much going on in RL at the moment :/

i will take a look tonight to see what is on the server as i did not set this one up :P but i would suggest similar rules as there was for monster if there is no mining world i will create one
 
Thanks Yrthilian, I've been thinking about it and actually I can get quite a few resources from the ore berry bushes or from sifting so it might not be necessary after all. Obviously being able to set up a quarry and leave it overnight would be quicker but actually I might have a go at other solutions :)

I've been away from the server for a few days after my computer died on me. Either I'm stupid or there aren't any details on how to join the 1.7.2 vanilla server anywhere... linktart.co.uk:21111 doesn't seem to work

EDIT: Found it, I'm back! ^_^ hopefully there are people about again, it's been a bit dead recently
 
I had no joy with mojang trying to recover my account details so had to knock up a new one and pay again ( doh!)

I have sent FrechTart a message requesting a re-whitelisting with my new username so as soon as that's done I am in.

From reading through this new thread and the helpful replies I think I would want to stick with using the vanilla server until I find my feet again.

Just one last thing can someone link me to the linktart launcher for when my whitelist comes through I think that's it and am almost set :)
 
There isn't a Linktart launcher you just load up the minecraft launcher in 1.7.2 and add the server under multiplayer.

Well well, what's this snuggled away in the desert?





Just a little something Vdubs7er and I knocked up yesterday/today. You can climb up the ramp and have a look round, shoot the cannons and there's even a secret smuggling underfloor bit, just like the 80's plastic model had (oops, showing my age :/)

Lighting's not 100% yet, esp on top and underneath. It's still a wip with decent lighting and a viewing platform yet to come.

Here's a very impressive wip (not mine I hasten to add) - St Paul's cathedral - looks great inside too - jump on the vanilla server and have a nose around ^_^

 
Woah looks like a lot of good building going on, might have to get on the vanilla server a little as well. Anyone fancy giving me lessons? ;) my problem is I never know what to build

I'm usually on most days/evenings as are some of the other players. There's a brand new overworld to explore and gather materials from ^_^

You can build whatever you want to :p :):)
