OK - builders unite!! There's a plan to build a massive horse racing course over several kms. The idea is that the whole track will be split up into sections with players being assigned sections to build as they see fit.
The plan is that redstone traps are allowed, well, actively encouraged, although they must be non-lethal. You get your section of track to make as you see fit - include traps, short-cuts, long-cuts - all things to slow your opponents down whilst getting you though quicker, except the next section has been made by someone else!! Bwaaahaaahaaa!!
Who's up for it? Post here or trust if you want Racetrack to be laid out asap if there's enough takers/players

k - I'm planning a new gold farm that also incorporates magma creams and Ghast tears. It'll be a fairly large build in new nether and I'll get up a materials list so we can see what's needed. I've done quite a few large builds recently and I'm slowly running out of mats, so donations would be gratefully received.
As an aside, I was thinking about rebuilding the auto-wood farm near spawn. Would that appeal to anyone? You right click a block, trees grow and get crushed and stacked, saplings and apples go into chests, leaves are nerfed and the wood is collected ready for you to harvest it with an axe in a safe, well lit environment.
It only worked with oak on 1.6.* and prolly only works with oak on 1.7.* too (haven't fully tested yet), but hey - easy harvest wood ^_^
I'll re-build it if there's enough interest

, as well as the new gold farm and tree farm, lol.Good call on the mat donations, might need to go off mining for a few hrs.

The current launcher does not include the version needed for the linktart resonant rise server as you've already discovered, petridish has already posted a copy of the version you need in this post: http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showpost.php?p=26409156&postcount=210
Just copy this folder into your instances folder to get it to work, then go to instances in the AT Launcher to start it.

The wither farm is gonna have to be a back burner - the witchfarm took two months of solid work and I don't think I could face a huge project like that again for a while!! 4 million blocks removed by hand/tnt took a long time, not to mention draining all the swampland first
^_^There is another option for the wither farm and that's halfslabbing all spawnable blocks 128 blocks each way, but if we went that route we'd have to use a new fortress as the old one has had too much removed already. There's loads of fortresses in the new nether, so we could look at that option!

Gazzab - egg is in the chest at the west end of your cathedral. IIRC Crazy_Monty was there and was Sylvet there to slot the dragon? Can't remember - sozzers. Don't forget you can't mine the egg if you place it wrong - piston and lever to get it back

Bio_Triffid - I've put a load of item frames in one of your chests in your shop - had to nerf a load of entities - let me know if you need the items that were in the frames replacing too
