Opening up the server is what happened before and all we got were griefers and thieves. (You seen the ban list from the short time it was open?) and how is an easier to join server going to help? Some players just don't want to pay for a server but are happy to play on it.

I think if more time was put into the maintenance of the server, updates, modded server, linktart site, etc. Then some of the new players and exciting would be more forth coming with the money side of things.

My position currently, Is that i'm not playing it as much as before and don't have the time to, so contributing money doesn't make sense.

In the server list just shows as "cant connect to server"

thre was an update not long ago to do with linking the worlds togeather and load balancing.cant remember the name right now but there is one address to connect to then you can travel to which ever instance you want.

Re rules all players have to do is request access - it's a quick and simple way to keep griefers and asshats away :)

Can't help with the modded stuff - sorry. Can any mod players give any advice?
 
I tried to log in and have a look at the modded server but I can't get on.. I unfortunately just haven't got the time to put in to modded minecraft at the moment so simply won't be around sorry guys. I have a couple of nights here and there but I'm also trying to get through my steam library lol

sorry i had been ill the past week and had no energey to open emails or even look at forms. I will follow up on issues later today

as for the funds account there is £29 in the account
there may be an issue with the monthly sub cant thoes that used it please check to see if it was called

dw20 server is back up
it is still on 1.0.3 will look at updating it later

The reasion for lack of update is lack of responce from the comunity
If you guys want something say so and i will look at adding/updating it.

As there is no 1.8 FTB i have not bothered with updating mod server

Van has been updated and has had no major issues.

Ham i will email you with some info rgeards the servers.

I am happy to walk away for this whole project if player just cant be bothered with it. I payed for the server myself for some time and i cant afford to pay for it anymore. Right now i am very tired and have little energey while i recover from my illness.
 
I'm more than happy to cover a good portion of the server costs, yrth pop me a trust email.

I'd be happy to take over some running/control of the mod server, if you dont have the time right now. I've ran a couple of my own servers for myself and friends before so got a little experience, and should be easily able to drop in and out to sort it out.

cool, i'll be at work after 10PM tonight, but can still get back to you, might just be a little slow.

no problem with reply's i can be a bit slow myself when wrking on issues.
I have an OOH job to do for work tonight so should be on late enough anyway

Yrthilian has the current funds so I'm not sure tbh - best asking him.

The total cost per month is £41 and yrth normally paypals me (thefrenchtart at hotmail dawt com) then I send the money via standing order. Obviously that takes a few days to process so I would usually send that well in advance of any suspensions. I can pay by card though if someone gets the funds across to me (which I assume would instantly reinstate the server).

I'll try to keep an eye on the thread and on my email but I'm in work so I might not be able to react instantly - also out tonight and most of the weekend so again my reaction times might not be instant.
 
As far as i remember i think there was 30 quid or so in the pot. I'll try get hold of yrth in a bit, if he can paypal me the pot funds at some point I'll send over the 41 in Half hour or so, then we can get the server back up :)
