Amazon Twitch unit has warned of “possible unauthorised access” to some user account information on the live-stream gaming network.

Twitch said it had expired passwords and stream keys, and disconnected accounts from Twitter and YouTube to protect the users. In an official blogpost, Twitch administrators continued:

You will be prompted to create a new password the next time you attempt to log into your Twitch account.

We also recommend that you change your password at any website where you use the same or a similar password. We will communicate directly with affected users with additional details.

I haven't touched my Twitch account in well over a year and have changed any passwords since then, but in case any of you are susceptible to this, might be worth changing them just to be safe.

Yeah done all that and gotr the e-mail as well. No big deal just need to reset everything :)

Question to all my other steramer buddies here.

Do any of you ahve Virgin as your ISP, and how does your steraming cope?

I'm aware they throttle and manage there internet and I'm worried I'll have a reduction in quality of my stream, not to mention increased lag etc :(

Just wondering if this is in force for everyone? Some were given a hard time over this.
 
Been whatching Grumpy and the rest of you on and off - not streamed much myself, but managed to get a 6 hour one in yesterday.

Moving soon to a new house share and I've promised to do more :)
 
I enjoyed watching Valkia play Call of Duty last night. Not only is he easy on the eye but he's very chatty and amiable, too. But the swearing! If I had a £1 each time, I'd have made a monkey last night. :D
