I've been streaming everyday for the last week and am 1 follower away from meeting the requirements to be a Twitch affiliate myself which I am really excited about. Ever since I sorted out my medical issues streaming has become so much easier to schedule and so much more fun. I'm loving it at the moment. Xsplit Broadcaster is also pretty sweet software. Glad I spent the money on it. I used OBS Studio in the past but I think I prefer Xsplit and I have a lifetime license for it now.
 
Just wondering if anyone has any recommendations for an artist to do some branding work for my Twitch channel? I could probably spend between £200 and £300 I guess so I'm not looking for anything super professional just some images here and there.
 
After doing a short stint on Mixer, think i'm going to move back to Twitch.

Its a tidy platform being able to run 1080p 60fps with high bitrate without being partnered, and the ability to "Co-Stream" with others by having 4 streams running on 1 screen, but the lack of viewers on there scares me in terms of growth, I see people with 10k followers only get 20-30viewers daily.

So think i'm going to go back on Twitch, sat at 205 Followers, not sure how many of them will come back to watch after haven't streamed on their for over 6 months.

And the ability to stream my gaming Pc to my streaming PC without using a capture card is a masssssive plus to me and doesn't affect quality (Google OBS NDI if you're interested)

Staying with the rules if you fancy, my User is Uncle_Gravy I'm attempting Mon-Fri 7pm ish till 10pm.

Good to see people stick with it as it is a very hard grind.

Valkia is off the scale now with his Overwatch prowess and good luck to him too.

I'll eventually get round to updating the first page again :D

You get an email to invite you to the program at some point after you have met the requirements. You do not apply for it.

For me the email came almost instantly but some people have said they needed to wait for a few weeks before they got the email.
 
I need to find some new people to follow. A lot of the folk I used to watch like Adam_AK seem to have disappeared.

Which made me think - if I subscribed to someone's channel for 12 months and they disappeared and didn't broadcast again after a month or two (which can happen to anyone with events in their personal life) does Twitch give you a refund back?

Thought I would drop in here again to just to say I am back streaming again. Myself and a few of my group (BigClan) have started streaming. I hit affiliate last week and have reached the lofty heights of 131 followers and a single sub...albeit that is my brother. I mostly stream FPS (RoE, Overwatch, PUBG) but also stream games like The Witcher3, Rimworld and Darwin Project. Still trying to sort out a schedule but feel free to stop by and say hi.

I'm starting out as PUBG Streamer.
Will definitely be streaming BO4 when it comes out later this year, either from PC or PS4 (through RemotePlay) with cam and almost always on Discord.
Since I've only just seen this, I'll be following a bunch of you as soon as I get home. Looking forward to watching a good bunch of you.

I had my first ever donation yesterday! People are very generous, fair play. I have 51 followers and barely 3 viewers, but I'm optimistic and will keep it going while I enjoy doing it. Good fun so far, highly recommended for anyone who's looking to add something else to their gaming.
 
I just bought an Elgato capture card and am going to be streaming some Wii U, PS4 exclusives and PC gaming from now on. I'll also try and upload the recordings to YouTube. I'm excited to get back into streaming it should be pretty great.
