Although I do not stream, It would be great for all of you to group together under a OCUK community, Means all of us can easily see whos streaming.

Strangely enough I've sort of stopped streaming myself and usually find myself on TC's stream. Although I should start again my issue is my schedule is all over the place at the moment.
 
I've started streaming again, feel like a bit of a pleb talking to no-one most of the time but it's getting easier. Playing Rocket League most of the time as i'm semi OK at it and it's quick to dip in and out of.

Did a late stream for an hour or so last night, and actually had 1 viewer who I was chatting to and gave me a follow! Haven't heard that notification for a while! :D
 
What happens if you stream on YouTube? I may do some retro PC games since my GOG library isn't doing much atm. Just wondering if I do if there is a people who stream using YouTube thread for it as I can see one or if they'd just go on this one in a separate section.
 
Does anyone have any tips/links for getting a basic setup going please?

I've got the PC with more than enough grunt to play, stream and record, I just need another monitor but that's easily remedied. It's more configuring Twitch/notifications etc that I'm struggling with.

Been thinking of giving Twitch a go just as something different and hopefully fun to do occasionally, however finding that I can't decide on a name. 'Qel' I'm increasingly finding is too short for many games name requirements and even Twitch itself so I end up with Qel_ or something equally ugly. On the one hand half thinking it being short is a good thing, easier to remember maybe, on the other perhaps I should take the time to come up with something original that will work without weird variations in each title but then I'm rubbish coming up with names :P
 
Going to start streaming again soon on the 24th of May when a new MMO server is opened. I just need to do an experiment to see if I can stream late at night (I'm talking 2am to 5am) without waking everyone in the house. If I can stream at night I'll be streaming all the time I am awake.
 
Getting into this streaming lark recently, early days...used to do a fair bit of King of the Kill, but (like everyone else!) have moved onto Playerunknown's Battlegrounds, with a bit of F12016 / Rocket League / Miscreated thrown in from time to time.

More than welcome if you fancy a chat / view some randomly skilled gameplay :)

I noticed you are playing PUBG, we have a PUBC channel and several voice rooms on the OCUK discord with a good amount of people playing each night:

Also, we have a streamerlist which we wanted to use to put everyone on the server who streamed so people can check them out :) Feel free to join and get involved!

Yep, noticed the OcUK discord channel a few months ago, rarely on there as I mostly play solo's & duo's with a couple of mates, but will definitely pop in next time (lurked around last night whilst streaming). Where's this streamerlist you mentioned?

Its a text channel on the discord. :)
 
Just bought myself Xsplit Broadcaster lifetime license because it was on sale and only cost $160 rather than $200. Not entirely sure it was worth it but some of the features are quite useful like being able to save presentations to a file so you can back them up on Dropbox and the interface is pretty nice when you get used to it.

I'm going to be going back to streaming tomorrow after having to have a break from a lot of things due to medical issues. I've got a game lined up to play so we will see how it goes. Hopefully I'll be able to stream most days at the same time to try and build a following. Even if it doesn't work out I still find it fun to stream and I can also use Xsplit to make some YouTube videos as well. Just need to buy some video editing software and some image editing software.
 
Wow - things have gone mental since I was last on here

Started the year on 1000 followers, now just a couple of hundred from 2000!!

The sub button has been launched for affilates as well - and I've been really blessed to have so many people smack it and use there twitch prime!!

Hope everyone else's stream is going great, Its a awesome time to be a streamer right now, lots of fun and laughter in the community.
