Cheers pal, I can now go in and tell everyone at work about this rule tomorrow, as we were talking about the 3 keepers v 2 keepers today when the squad was announced and no one mentioned the FIFA ruling, makes sense I suppose ...

Imagine getting to the Final with one keeper out and something happens to the 2nd keeper and next thing an outfield player is in goal with 80 mins of the game left :eek: would not be pretty :D

To be fair to old Djibril, I haven't seen much of him lately apart from the odd European match ... guess I'm remembering/judging him as the crocked EPL journeyman who crept out the back door to join Marseille a couple of years back.

The Greek league seems to have worked wonders for some players like Gilberto Silver, still a Brazil International when Arsene couldn't find a place for him with us :rolleyes:
 
Think it's pretty good, besides maybe ? over Carrick, Huddlestone, maybe A.Young would be good for more scope left side, but other than that, it's worth taking J.Cole, he his amazing on form.

Dawson and King have been good as a partnership, I don't even think Rio should get the nod just yet.

Strikers is a good shout, had to put Bent in really.
 
This has to be the worst 30 players for england I can remember based on form and fitness. Not to say there aren't some good players in the 30 but most of them are knackered, been playing badly for club or just not good enough. Heskey has what 3 goals this year?

Shocking that we even had to ask carrager whose been rubbish for two years and scholes who for the last two+ years has had manu fans on here bitching.

Next stop Alan Shearer.

Let's hope it isn't serious and he will be fit to play, probably won't have to wait long to find out the extent of the injury. If he's not fit does that mean a central defence partnership of Ferdinand and Upson? I'm not sure I'm too happy about that!
 
The rest of the England squad will be hoping Terry is fit so they can keep an eye on him and not worry about what he might be up to back in England.
 
Just read Allardyce's comments on Robinson being omitted from the squad. I didn't even realise he wasn't in it as I assumed based on his season he would be there. Very surprised that calamity Green is in there ahead of him..
