*** Official OMG I've finally got my 5850 thread **

on that thread only 1 person said the voltage adjustment in MSI afterburner works , another person says it doesn't

I don't think that guy's card could have a tweaked bios on it actually. The guy from MSI that posted the 5870 one said 3 days ago;

We haven't receive mass production bios of 5850, I will release it once I have it.

The MSI cards won't have the tweaked bios yet. I think the first see of it is when he posts it, or an Asus one appears.

£84 delivered? I think I'll wait a little longer until uk retailers have them for sale.
Always works out a bit more unfortunately. I've seen EK-FC5850 for £76 + Del on pre-order.

I don't think those links worked quite as You hoped :)
Slightly concerning is the use of V-sync in benchmarks ?

I fixed the links before you posted that lool and i had v-sync on but somebody told me to turn it off lol. (why i did both)

Got mine installed this morning but I've got some issues with the driver. I'm using it with a 1080p display via HDMI and it's not filling the screen completely. It's as if it's applying some underscan which it doesn't need to do and there's no control for it. Also it refuses to do 1080p 50hz.

Also, I've got the driver listed on the AMD site which appears to be 8.66 but on the ATI site it lists as 9.9 which when downloaded doesn't seem to have all of the components in it and subsequently doesn't install a driver!

Total pants so far. :(

Has anyone else got issues with Windows detecting new hardware i.e. the new GFX card everytime? The drivers are all installed ok & the card works fine in games so I don't know why it's doing this :confused:

That drive won't work for me every time i run a game its crashes out, the only one i can use and game on is the one that comes on the Sapphire cd.
