Anyway.

This double XP is crazy, I earned 300+ certs in 48 minutes and after 3 hours and 30 minutes I have earned 838 certs. Normally I earn 100+ certs a hour and earning 800+ certs normally takes 2-3 days.

This is going to be an awesome weekend.

<3 as I said I'm biased as I'm a member, but there are plenty of outfits on all sides on Miller (including Gaz's) where you'll probably find what you're looking for.

The only thing it ever had going for it was the overall server population but now it doesn't even have that with both Cobalt and Woodman have more players and better balanced faction populations. Miller is easily the worst server EU.

During prime time, one faction might be a little % over the others which is just like any other game, player numbers change.

Population on Miller has been a problem, with TR overpopulation getting especially bad the last month or so, mainly during alerts. That said we do have a good community of outfits, certainly on NC, which keeps the game fun for me anyway... but yeah holding back the red tide isn't always fun but I wouldn't say it's the worst. Woodman has gone up and down like a yo-yo at times, one minute they were all migrating to Miller or begging to be merged next crowing over huge population, now complaining it's lower again. Hopefully they'll take some steps to sort it out soon like prevent people switching empire so easily and make Miller a recommended server for new players but none of the servers are balanced pop wise really. Miller has too many TR, many US ones have too many NC etc.

As I said new members are very welcome in DL so if you decide on us, great. Equally there are loads of outfits out there so this is probably the best place to have a look at them, see if you find the one for you.

I don't see it, sure we outnumber everyone by a few precent but it's not so bad for everyone to scream about.

This double XP weekend is really awesome, made a other 560+ certs in the last 2 hours, so made like 1500 today. :p

On many of the primetime alerts it has easily been 10% higher than both Nc and Vs, sometimes more meaning we only have a chance if we focus TR for 3/4 of the alert. Even had TR complaining on the forums they are finding it hard to find decent fights because you have such numbers. But I guess you don't see it as you always have more people. Not that it's the fault of those who played Tr from the beginning, it's all the 4th faction people that ****es me off.
 
I'm really enjoying this game, far more than BF3 ever did, however...

My performance is really bad, sometimes diving down into the 30's in heated action. My detail is on HIGH, shadows low anything else I can turn down that I won't really notice graphics wise?

The game is very cpu limited at the moment, they're still working on performance improvements. I'd suggest turning shadows and flora off as a start.

What server/faction did you pick?

Another issue I have is the game being very quiet, sounds muffled.

Game is very CPU limited and pretty much all settings are GPU based; in that sort of fight where you're getting 30fps it won't matter if you're all on low or all on high, you will be getting 30fps.

Miller was screwed before the 4th empire turned up. The first couple of months from the day of launch Miller had TR with 40%+ populations daily. It almost seemed like it went ok for a while but it didn't take long for it to go back to how it was.

Cobalt or Ceres, and New Conglomerate :)

Check the outfit recruitment forums for whichever one it is as the game is just 100% better in a good outfit.

As for the sound, check the settings under the voice tab it could be idiots talking over the in game voice comms and your ducking setting could be high perhaps?

AI its not much good, one less bullet to kill with most AI weapons that's no damage buff, the only thing that's handy is you can dodge a bit now.

It is however pretty good at AV, that said so is lock down. If I played NC I wouldn't be happy, ive only seen the shield twice since it came out on Ceres.

Anyway I have zero certs on my max at BR 61 I think I am (its been moving fast the last few days) so I only know ive had more of them to repair than ever so yes VS are using allot more maxs now.

I love the new Saron and ive had loads of fun with it on a harasser. its great for running up on stupid prowler drivers and ripping them a new one.
 
Totally loving the double XP weekend. Disconnected a few times but this is my latest session. Pretty sure I have made 1000 certs this morning.
