Mercutio - SOE and ProSieben accounts all connect to the same servers, it's just a question of who you signed up with really, they were originally going to force all EU players to use ProSieben and migrate over existing SOE accounts but backtracked on it after some uproar.

Ahhhh - excellent. So I can go hop on cobalt without messing around moving my account over etc? Handy to know.
Only BR12 at the moment so I might do it now before it's a painful "goodbye fun stuff" to restart my character.

Anyone care to chip in random useful tips?

Mine:
Tick the "raw mouse input box" when you want to fly.
Stick to a good reflex sight on basic foot troop weapons. Leave big scopes alone (unless using something with good range obviously).

I may be wrong, but I think SOE have offers on cheap station cash more often than ProSieben do with their equivalent.

If you're not too far into the game I'd start over with a sony station account, unless you never intend to spend any cash on the game obviously

You can use the + and - keys on the Numpad to raise/lower voice comms when someone is talking.

If you are playing engineer, you don't have to have an ammo pack in your load out. Just equip your turret (button 5), then press B. This way you can put mines in your loadout and still be able to drop ammo.

Random tips (I'm only BR21 so hardly a veteran!)

Medic:
Get your medic tool up to level 5 ASAP - well worth the investment, revive in just over a second, longer range and much faster health top-up.

"F" button - mash it when you're taking hits whilst moving, can save your life, likewise mashing it whilst bouncing down a slope can also see you survive where others wouldn't.

Engineer
Duck if repairing anything at all near a Magrider.. Those guys can't drive.

General
Annoy people, if you can occupy half a squad by getting them annoyed at you for throwing a grenade near a Sundy then that's a nice amount of people hunting you rather than focusing on the objective. It's amazing how many people will run off after a lone soldier.

As a tanker, I'd also say stay to the sides whilst repairing, as if a tank is hit the first thing we tend to do is reverse - quite often over the poor souls sat right behind us.

I agree with all of the above especially the medic setup. Also if you want to annoy a squad who are on defence try and get the furthest away capture point then double back you will have them running in circles lol

SOE are a joke, I bought a 6 month sub, I cancelled it right after so I didn't forget about it auto re-subbing in 6 months time, I've only received my first months 500SC, I emailed them and they said I won't receive my 500SC for the following 5 months because I've cancelled, even though my sub doesn't run out till September/October or something. ******* joke.

He had the nerve to tell me if I re-sub even for a month it will sort it out. Really wanted to tell him to **** off but I kept my cool.

^^ It is annoying, BUT it is clearly stated multiple times on all the screens as your subbing that you will loose that benefit if you unsub. They have even clarified the text as people have been complaining about this since release.

Random Tip:-
As soon as your character has loaded press "H" and then "[". Play like this most of the time unless your inside a base doing in your face infantry work. The amount of targets you can see on the radar will increase drasticaly and as a result you can plan your attacks and engagement strats better.

Apparently they only added this warning recently because of the amount of complaints, I certainly didn't see it when I subbed.

I need some help before I become ever more bored and fustrated!

I'm a heavy and seem unable to kill most targets or end up one hit killed, the problem seems to be down to nearly everyone using those MAX classes. Like what's the point also of having a rocket launcher if it doesn't do a great deal of damage to vehicles! I've hit tanks with the same kind of tank and it doesn't do a great deal of damage!

I want to hurt others as much as they hurt me, but i'm not willing to pay to win either

VS Max are pretty powerful now as everyone just runs round with zealot on.

You cant really improve damage to vehicles, if you can try and hit them on the back side but some will have rear armour installed. It's designed this way so you have to work as a team to take stuff out instead of being able to 2 shot vehicles yourself.
