Just check the footzerg around the 5 minute mark, Battlefield looks like childs play compared to this.

Unfortunately, I was reinstalling my OS at the time so was unable to join and farm everything that had two legs with my farming machine.
 
Thanks for that! Yeah the setup I have was a starting point of my computer build because I didnt have anything at the time and didnt know as much as I do now. I have had it about 2years now which is due an upgrade at some point! Its starting to struggle with some games now.
 
PS2 is really CPU intensive, so check your cooling. Do you get any blue screens or anything? Would be worth check the event viewer in administrative controls to see what error code it crashes with.

8GB really helps things along, I'd seriously consider it for everything.
 
Well i dont get any blue screens or anything...It plays fine and then after about 5mins it just crashes and goes to desktop with nor error message or nothing. I then just boot it up and start again :|

I am looking at getting 8GB of RAM - the build was just a starting point to my gaming haha. I am also looking at getting a better graphics card but not sure about that yet!
 
I am wanting to spend some station cash...is it worth getting the bundles or just pick a wep/gear u want lol ? also need a good close combat wepon for my infantrator for the NC lol.

Dont spend station cash on items you can also buy with certs.
Certs are far too easy to earn at the moment.

You can go test out every vehicle and weapon in VR and also most stuff is available in game for a trial period, so you can see how they work in combat.

The only stuff you have to spend SC on is cosmetics. Cammos, helmets, decals and comedy horns etc.

Wait for a few weeks until after the first few optimization patches.
Currently PS2 uses around 3GB of memory.

Its memory usage isnt great and the PS2 devs have acknowledged this is one of the things they have been looking at. They have also speciificaly said that the optimized code should run better on min spec machines and 4GB of RAM is currently the min spec.

One of the things that they have altered on test is the amount of textures stuff in game uses. This will have a direct impact on memmory usage.
 
ahhhh righto so i might as well save my cash haha....wat is the best way to get creds i dont feel like i am gettin them fast enough to get a wep lol
 
Having played BF4 for the last few days I can safely say that PS2 has nothing to worry about. BF4 is a joke in comparison to PS2.
 
Amused with myself. Sold my 26" 1920*1200 monitor to my nephews as a big upgrade to them. Plugged it in, fiddled with their graphics settings and res a little, and they are getting about twice the frame rate as previously lol. Looks fantastic compared to their puny old monitor :D
 
Really started getting back into this over the past week, My brother got me a years membership sorted out back last Christmas time but after a few weeks playing I had issues with my Pc, then I started doing more hours at work so I never really played the game that much and just forgot about it over time.

I realised the other day that I still had this membership going, reinstalled & logged back in to make the most of what was left, only to find I had over 12000 Station cash and around 1500 cert points on all my characters. Made a nice boost setting up some characters with weapons and ranking them up!

At the moment my Vanu character is set up as having the best sniper, engineer and air units, My TR guy is set up has having the best Heavy, Max and tank units, then I think I'm gonna set my NC guy up as the medic, light assault and transport units.

Thinking back to some of the great times I had playing this and how much I'm enjoying it now has really annoyed me that I haven't played it more, I've potentially missed out on so many great moments!
