They could just tell us they'll be releasing Portal 2 on April Fools Day and because nobody believes they'll actually do it on time for once it'll be released then
There'll probably be some problem with steam which will result in the consolers being able to play it before us no doubt.
Although, as usual we will all be stuck beside out computers waiting for it to unlock then shout abuse at Steve for breaking Steam, again.

What is it about Portal 2 that has basically made everyone preorder it then just wait patiently for the awesomeness to be released?

It's sitting there, in my games list, taunting me. I can hear that little hyphenated word laugh at night, "ha ha ha you can't install me" it says "for I am pre-order and not yet released". I've got a clock with a timer, it keeps me sane, it lets me know that, while that little hyphenated word can laugh now, it's days are numbered. Mock me now but soon I shall be a player of Portal 2 and you will be a thing of the past, both you and your little hyphen too.

I loved Portal 1, have started playing it again for the first time since The Orange Box was initally released. It is one of the few modern sp games that has held my attention long enough to complete it. Got Portal 2 on preorder.

It's been 2.5 years in the making!
I just never got round to completing it as I got stuck on test chamber 14 (I think it was that one) and gave up.
I re-did it Saturday in minutes and played through until the end.
I really cannot wait for Portal 2 any longer, should have been released by now, however it will be worth waiting for.

Which was 14? The 'android live fire test'? I'll probably end up playing through the game and some of the time/portal/step challenges (is challenge really the word for something thats next to impossible?
).
