First one starts in a diner on a native indian reserve,cue getting abducted and taken into the mothership, along with grandpa and girlfriend.

I've scoured the web for discussion about this game, but it seems to have slipped under everyone's radar!
Come on people - Prey is being developed by the same team behind the Dishonored games! It's not your average corridor shooter either, as it's largely non-linear, and has RPG elements. People have even likened it to System Shock 2!
The fact that the enemies can imitate almost any object in order to ambush or avoid you is fascinating to say the least!

I hope the enemies take different forms in different places throughout the map on each playthrough. It would be great to have very unpredictable placements of enemies.
I am trying to keep my expectations low on this one, as I was let down by Deus Ex: MD and as much as I enjoyed Dishonoured 2, it did not exactly blow my mind and it was over really quick.
It has the potential to be my favourite game of 2017 though

Not sure about this yet...im struggling to get excited by any games at the moment.
I ordered the physical edition back in 2015. Kingdom Come is one of my most anticipated games!
Back to Prey, I've heard that if you acquire too many alien abilities, you risk being targeted by the station's defences. There's a definitely a lot of potential imo.

I saw a video showing that when you acquire an alien power you are hunted by the aliens for a while too. It'll be interesting to see if it's worthwhile using them.

Where did you pre-order yours from? I can't even remember what site I pre-ordered from I've been buying that many games recently. Has to be either GMG or CDkeys. Time to scroll back through my emails...
Edit: Got my keys, it was from CDkeys. After activating them and looking at the games grid view it says on the tile 'coming soon' so no option to preload yet...
