So shotgun 1 enemy THEN punch them all to death :p

Though if you kill quickly with a shotgun (easy to stay accurate) you'd get more from the below par time thing so punching probably isn't worth bothering with. Besides, you get plenty of Shotgun ammo throughout.
 
Every weapon has a melee attack and you always have your fists, how did you miss em?

And of course, Fists are ridiculously powerful.

Its the 2nd tab from the Right in the menu. You have to select the missions and set it as active at the bottom to have it display the dots.
 
Without ploughing through the entired thread and searching endlessly in google, has the RAGE texture delay been fixed/improved at all? I just loaded it up the first time and it is definitely there but not as bad as some of the videos I've seen.

I think they would turn you into a pulse-charred corpse before you even got in range. Though I wouldn't be surprised if you could punch them down in 1 or 2 combos that would have them perma flinching if you could get close enough. Its how I took to killing Slime Mutants on Nightmare, got sick of pumping AR clips and buckshot into them and took to punching them down instead.

I dunno, probably middle mouse, check the button config. I changed it to Mouse 4 I know that much.

Tbh there seem to be more problems on newer rigs than there are on aging ones. The game is smooth as silk on this pc. So long as you aren't running something that should be powered by steam it should be fine.

Thanks for this. The game was unplayable for me before, even with the preview 2 drivers.

Would always crash on the intro or the graphics would be messed up.
Just upgraded to the preview 3 drivers and the game is now working perfectly. :D

Meh, I'm bored. I've just started it and the story has me completely bored to tears so far lol. The gameplay is definitely signature stuff from ID though, but isn't very satisfying to me. Obviously I need better guns.

To me, so far it seems a mix up of Fallout, STALKER, Bioshock, DNF, HL2 and Quake. The trouble is, it isn't better than all the games it has taken inspiration from. Waaaaay too early for me to tell whether it is going to be good or not, but initial first impressions are that I feel like maybe I should've waited until it was £15 or under.:o
