!!**Official RAGE Thread**!!

Well, the revised ATI driver has finally allowed me to play it.

It looks nice once I enabled VSync, so far I am unimpressed with the UI, it seems a bit dumbed down and basic. Having recently played Fallout NV again it came as a bit of a shock.

I had a CTD immediately on leaving the bandits lair at the beginning.

Glad I decided to wait for this to come down in price before buying it.

Seems to be worth £15 rather than £25 from what people are saying about it.

If you absolutely blitz through the main quest its quite short, but there is plenty of content, albeit somewhat repetitive in places. Play the game its supposed to be played and you can easily put 20 hours into it.

I hardly touched the racing bits or the parcel delivery thing in the first area but I still got it done in 9 hours and its not like I don't take my time when I can.

I haven't even touched the parcel delivery thing as it seemed really boring heh. I've only done the bare token amount of racing to, still put about 19 hours into it so far with only the last mission not done on the main storyline and about 70% of the side content done.

there must be a load of side content I missed then because I swear I spoke to everyone and did everything that was offered :(

The first 1 doesn't even take effort. The other 2 are a bit trickier though. Third 1 in particular is hard on a first attempt because its so easy to accidentally go the wrong way due to the misleading radar in the dead city entrance area. Good fun though.

Not that its very interesting really but you know for instance you can do the north and south sewers twice each for instance? (not that obvious when you first play it) and there are some missions/extra content that you can uncover from exploring rather than talking to people tho to be honest it doesn't deliver to the level I'd like, most of its pretty forgetable and basically revisiting earlier locations with slight changes.

They always pop up as a 'Cleanse the Sewers' mission on the job board after you go through the first time.

I did go through Dead City a second time thanks to a misleading comment by Olive in Wellspring telling me the Authority had moved in. I went back expecting the laser barrier'd area to be open but it wasn't. Just a regular trip back through it with lots of mutants and extra loot in the form of those piles of remains. Wasn't really worth the trouble.

I am 14 hours in, and i have just done the jailbreak mission. Still got quite abit to do, wasted some time on that stupid 5 finger knife game, the last round is impossible!

I just can't tell the pattern and I swear it randomises it which completely threw me off. Sailed through rounds 1-4 without a problem, messed up on round 5, then every attempt after that I kept screwing up round 4 for no reason ><

Not sure how people are finishing the game in 8hrs or something stupid like that. I've spent about 18hrs and I've just gone with the resistance to that new town. Seriously, people need to slow the **** down and appreciate the scenery, it's not a competition or anything. :p

There's plenty to see in this game and pretty much every part of it is different, unlike most games which reuse the the same textures and objects over and over again.
