How do people think this will run with a 5770? I've been thinking of upgrading for ages but no card has really jumped out at me yet as a great upgrade for good money.

Honestly, I have no idea.

But if you run the game without any post-processing effects, you'll probably notice a nice boost in frames.

There is going to be quite high texture sizes so the more VRAM the better, is it a 512MB or 1024MB?

It's the 1 Gig one, we'll see how it goes I guess. I think it's getting on the verge of starting to struggle with some stuff on high so maybe Skyrim and all the other awesome games this year may mean time to upgrade.

Yeah the engine sounds (as Frenchtart rightly says) quite dynamic with systems and will use suitable textures depending on your personal system.

Aaargh, can't believe this is out in less than two weeks.

I've still got a system to build. :o

for a console port :P

no there isnt you dont understand the technology if you think that its limited by console memory anyway as with most console ports its probably not going to use over 600-800mb of memory

Possibly true but it's actually not that crazy a leap to assume that the PC port would use more than 512MB.

Also, 600-800MB is more than 512MB, meaning that 512MB would be a limiting factor.

Obviously there is AA to consider too.
