It does include said items (albeit a comic short and smaller). Why would they charge the price of the anarchy edition when they're including more content than the anarchy edition?

Where you expecting the collectors editions advertised for other regions and ordered without even looking at what the UK pack contained? :confused:

You weren't complaining over the box yesterday, you were annoyed that they had changed your collectors edition to just an anarchy edition, which isn't what happened.

Why put like 95% of it online though if its meant to be an incentive for a specific edition of a game? I cant recall reading anything saying that it would just be a compliation of online interviews, thats all it is. Only "exclusive" part to it is the id quakecon 20th anniversary panel, and im pretty sure ive seen a recording of that on youtube somewhere =/

If you're getting tearing when the game is easily running at sixty then your drivers are at fault or there is some option enabled that is causing this to occur.

Like I said, if your machine is not managing to run the current scene at sixty fps the game will disable vsync until your machine can cope. That is how it is done in the engine currently.
If you force vsync (which is not the same as forcing sixty fps) then you shouldn't see any tearing but during times of slowness the game will be choppier and less responsive, albeit with no tearing.
 
How are people here playing it already? Isn't it a steam game so you can't play it without steam? Mine still says pre load (which it is).

VPN to unlock as if they were in the US. Its 3 days and evidently many people would've been better off waiting for the release of patches and drivers and config tweaks and so on instead of rushing to get it unlocked.
 
Sadly a disappointing launch :( I was anticipating this game highly given it was an ID/Bethseda release. Hopefully the bugs can be ironed out quickly.

Many steam users, including myself, have used VPNs to unlock games early on Steam without any repercussions. Not saying it's totally risk free but all evidence in the past points to it being fine.

You *could* be travelling in the US at the time of activation :)
