Strange smoker........

Tried the amd drivers with not a whole lot of improvment. Hope they get this fixed soon.

Tired of getting these bug laced games and us paying for Beta's. What happened to testing in-house?

I have two displays a PC monitor and a HDTV acorss the room for watching XBMC. made my display to show only desktop 1 and it works.

Going to be annoying swictching moniros all the time

this is a nightmare. i cant get this to stop freezing. a lot of people are going to be sorely disappointed with this.

I bought rage as hard copy from shopto.net but apparently because of steam i cant play it because its not realeased yet ??? anyone else getting this. I actually hate steam.

I had this with Dead lsland, it's just so stupid you can't even install the game from the DVD without having to wait until release day.

ive just done the VPN trick that everyone mentioned so i could install my DVD copy of the game and am now able to play! but think i need the amd drivers as the textures were not good!

Steam, origin ect ect soon we're gunna have to have one for every publisher. if i didnt have the internet id be screwed -.-

Steam is just the drm they are using, even with something different, it would probably still have a release date check. Last 2 retail games i bought were not activated through Steam but i couldn't play them until release. It is not Steams fault!

hmm unsure about amd's rage drivers, game didnt look any better and has just crased on me

i have crossfire maybe thats the issue

Don't know tbh. All i know is that i bought The Witcher 2 retail at release, it is not on Steam but after installing it i was not allowed to play it until official release, same with DA2(i think Crysis 2 was the same as well).
The point i was trying to make was that you said you hate steam, but its just the drm, and it is not the only system that does it.

are you sure the rage drivers installed correctly? on ym sons laptop he had some outdated 10.4 or whatever and if you tried to launch the game with those it would just bomb to desktop but worked fine once i installed the rage driver.

maybe run driver cleaner reboot , install driver ?

Was done that way in the first place - everything else is fine, natch.

Absolutely gutted

BF3 was fail even though a beta so ok, bit of acceptance. F1 2011 - no xfire support. I have £800 of gfx hardware and can't use it - unacceptable, I don't know how they get away with it.

This game is so strange. In places it looks amazing like below (rezied 1080p)

and then in some indoor places get close and this happens

it should come with a "runs best on ipad" logo at the start

ahh sorry i get what you mean now. Mergghh hate waiting =/. Seems like with all the bugs im gunna have to wait anyways >.<

Thats it, its bloody awful imo, 6 years to make this, i dont and wont usually **** off games easily but its nothing special.
