Is is just me that thinks this has a Borderland feel?

Hmm this is one pre-order im actually looking forward to getting, normally i just pre-order and wait and most of the time actually forget id pre-ordered it..But this i strangley i keep checking my order status, just to see on the off chance its coming lol.

It's a shooter in a post-apoc style wasteland with a slightly cell shaded style to the graphics.

On the surface, yeah, it looks like Borderlands. The actual game itself looks a lot better though.

Yeah, It looks to me like Rage has more variety than Borderlands.

Yeah. The story element seems stronger too and the game is less about leveling up and getting loot

From all accounts it should scale very well to low end hardware.

If you played Borderlands, think of Rage as a graphic upgrade of it, thats the way i see it, just seems to suit the style of game and era their set in.

It's going to be a very different game to Borderlands once you get past the surface look of it being cell shaded in a post apocalyptic world.

Oh i know that, but for the sake of comparing it something, If people were happy with Borderlands, they will be over the moon with Rage, is what i should have said

I dont think this is anything like Borderlands in the gameplay department.

Borderlands is a Diabloish action rpg where loot farming and endgame solo Crawmerax is the ultimate challenge.

I think Rage is like an ordinary shooter. Borderlands could be played an infinite amount of times to get better loot. I dont think Rage is anything like that.

The PS3 Walkthrough's been taken down now, watched it half a dozen times already, I haven't been looking forward to a game so much since Doom 3.
