Asus X370 Pro ordered... I just hope to god it does not have same issues as the others.

fingers crossed.

If it can at least pass realbench at stock, I will consider it an improvement.

If I get out of meeting in time and someone has some stock of something else in time for me to get it tomorrow, will go that route.

someone with an actual working board +samsung bdie ram needs to do some ram training. i have heard the nb speed =1/2 the memory speed so the faster your ram is the faster the system is. i have seen 1912 in cinebench at 4.1ghz :O thats over 100cb more than i got with 2400mhz c12 on the ram.

Finally!! (got the board via Czech Republic :D)

May wait for the next bios update from Asus before i turn it on though, hoping they release one today.

Thought you would have gone with this DDR4:

Mate are you not pulling heat from your graphics card in that orientation? It might be why your temps are so high
It doesn't matter as much as you would think, the back of the GPU isn't going to be that warm (plus pulling air from there may actually benefit the GPU). Don't forget coolant, be it air/water/oil doesn't have to be cold to cool it has to be colder than the thing it's cooling (hence why AIOs are usually set up as exhausts).

It was almost a 10c difference when I switched mine around

I think I will leave it as it’s a temp cooler till I get an Am4 bracket for my H100i V2. I’m not going to be playing games on this PC just yet. I’m using it to test out Visual Studio 2017 and some other work stuff. Had a black screen crash last night loading MS Android Emulator, other than that it's been good.
