I'm also using HWINFO, specifically the SVI2 TFN value. What are you using to measure vCore ? HWInfo is giving me this at 3.9 with all settings at Auto.
Tried some further testing last night with LLC at Auto, I need to set 1.38v @ 3.7Ghz to pass a couple of hours in Realbench. Vdroop takes this down to ~1.33v. Setting 1.375v (vdroop to v1.30-1.32) results in a crash. I've gone back to stock for now as the temperature increase for a measly 200Mhz over stock (3.4Ghz + XFR) is close to 20C which just isn't worth it.
LLC at high results in much lower temps and more stable voltage, but I am now concerned about the undetectable overshoots. I can only surmise that the VRMs on the B350 Strix are not up to the task.
Yes, it adds or subtracts the offset you specify from what the processor is requesting. Can someone explain the offset voltage on a b350 for me please. Is it just an amount above what the board wants to auto set?
Seems retarded you can' just set voltage
