What are you using to measure vCore ? HWInfo is giving me this at 3.9 with all settings at Auto.
I'm also using HWINFO, specifically the SVI2 TFN value.

Tried some further testing last night with LLC at Auto, I need to set 1.38v @ 3.7Ghz to pass a couple of hours in Realbench. Vdroop takes this down to ~1.33v. Setting 1.375v (vdroop to v1.30-1.32) results in a crash. I've gone back to stock for now as the temperature increase for a measly 200Mhz over stock (3.4Ghz + XFR) is close to 20C which just isn't worth it.

LLC at high results in much lower temps and more stable voltage, but I am now concerned about the undetectable overshoots. I can only surmise that the VRMs on the B350 Strix are not up to the task.

Can someone explain the offset voltage on a b350 for me please. Is it just an amount above what the board wants to auto set?
Seems retarded you can' just set voltage
Yes, it adds or subtracts the offset you specify from what the processor is requesting.

Well Team, a solid three hours gaming tonight on 4Ghz at 1.3v. I'm of the age where I can't really be bothered stressing it for hours on end, if it games stable it's stable enough for me. So I'm pretty chuffed. Rig has also been on solid all day downloading etc no issues.

Did you just change the VCORE? Or did you tweak any of the Soc voltage also?

Seeing you getting to 4ghz with little fuss is now making me tempted to try!

Just tried @ 4.0ghz and vcore at 1.4.

Boots into Windows no bother but when I try run Cinebench it just reboots.

Have you tried the Cinebench @ 4.0?

Not yet mate only stress test I’ve done so far is having the machine on all day yesterday downloading etc. Then about three hours gaming in PUBG and Squad

Would be interested to know if it works with Cinebench...although as people say, as long as you can use the PC for everything you do on it and it works then should be fine!

Well my build is up and running but for some strange reason my dark pro 8 pack 3200 ram is only running at 2133mhz.
Not sure if should try over lock as temps are running at e0 and 1.144v

The option would be useful. Isn't the argument for offset that - unless you are running under load most of the time - that auto + offset allows the voltage to drop when the chip is idle. I assume if you set a fixed voltage value it stays at that value all the time. That said - the energy saving is likely pennies.

Yes I update bios too 1001x64

It’s since I’ve done that it’s happened

Try removing and replacing the CMOS battery, or better still replace with a new one. I had a similar issue with the C6H some months back. It would not turn off properly or would start with the wall switch not the power button. This resolved it fully.
