*** Official Ryzen Owners Thread ***

I hereby challenge every Ryzen owner to beat my Cinebench score @4Ghz. Let's see what you've got gentlemen. :D

R7 1700 @4Ghz
3200MHZ CL14
1.350V
Score: 1770

EDIT got a slightly better score by 1 point with lower voltage now 1.350v. Not bad for a £320 CPU.

I know you no longer have this but challenge accepted :)

well as stated few times My 1700x is maxing stable at 3953-3953. So try 3950 at 1.42 and see if that works for You. What SoC u on ?? i was crashing at 1.06 full stable at 1.1 so look in there also :)

SoC is at 1.1v. The extra 50mhz isn't enough for me to warrant hours of testing again lol. I'll stay with 3.9 for 24/7

Air cooling so 2016 :p

My Archon SB-E X2 bought for £13 delivered, 2nd hand from ebay, can match AIO units and give some custom loops a run for their £££! :p .

Thanks, I guess for 1700 5C is not that of a big deal compared to X cpus.

I expected a bit more from Asus fan control to be honest. Curves have what...like 3 points only to setup, no option to select GPU temps, no option to select other than CPU temps for all headers (only for chassis headers you can select other MB sensors only) etc:/ Not sure how it is on intel.

It was same on my M7R regarding sensors/curves. I've got used using the curves with 3 points TBH, have a play and you'll get the "knack".

Out of curiosity what's your voltage at on the 1800X ? For my 1800X it takees 1.40v for 4050MHz.

@4.125Ghz it takes 1.45v bang on under 100% encoding load. As i do not use any LLC, idle voltage spikes to over 1.5v+ but I'm not too concerned about idle voltage as load is light.

I believe 4.025Ghz needed around 1.36v from memory.

I have 4x8GB Hynix MFR @ 2666MHz with 1.1v SOC and 1.35v DRAM
Managed to get stable memory 4x8GB with similar settings @2666 1.1V SOC, 1.35V DRAM  14-14-14
CPU 3.9 1.37V (load), +0.1935v offset in bios, LLC3

Can't get CL13 for some reason...it's booting fine, but in windows it still shows CL14:/

Ryzen doesn't like odd numbers for some reason

Ryzen doesn't like odd numbers for some reason

Wonder if they will fix that oddness?

My memory xmp profile like 15-17-17-17 for 3000. Would love to be able to select that one day :)

Ps - currently testing my settings with Llc on 1, and phase control on optimised instead of extreme.

Glad I have a fallback profile now that I know is stable for if I don't have time to muck about.

Argh!

I forgot that after my hours and hours of testing, that I had updated to more recent nvidia drivers - so black ******* screen back!

Getting mighty tired of that issue...

Me too, Vega is looking rather tasty for me with what nvidia are playing at at the moment. Titans getting beat by ti's
