Maybe, maybe not. Nothing is guaranteed re over clocking.I'm going that one day the DOCP profile will just work and the bios will take care of overclocking my ram to 3200Mhz?
I used:
Though I was using the 1800X, not sure if it has a better IMC?
- 3200MHz RAM Multiplier
- 1.125v SOC
- 1.4v RAM
- 14,14,14,32 timings, though can try 14,14,14,36
You could also try bumping up the vcore, some have found it helps.
New MSI B350 Tomahawk bios out https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/support/B350-TOMAHAWK.html#down-bios
Added a fair amount of overclocking features on the RAM, nearly as much as the X boards

These chips are such multitasking beasts
combined with 64gb makes running VM's a doddle!
BAck to 3.95ghz though, as it's an easy OC, and after installing another bios update yesterday, didn't feel like another long round of testing.
Memory only 2400Mhz, but timings 12-13-13-13-32.
From reading elsewhere, it seems that frequency has a bigger impact than timings, so I would suggest (or at least test) higher frequency and loosen the timings and see if performance increases.
could save a few quid and go with this ram
