*** Official Ryzen Owners Thread ***

I had problems with the LPX but to be fair, looks like i have a poor IMC or at least it's poor with the current round of BIOS. Other have fair better. However, go with the Team Group list above as I believe they are Sammy B Dies on there.

These: https://www.overclockers.co.uk/team...nnel-kit-black-grey-tdpgd416g3-my-076-tg.html

Others on here have advised that these are Sammy B's.

I will give the Corsair a try as they are listed on MSIs website at 3200. If fail then I will try order suggestion.

EDIT: According the MSI the TEAM RAM is not ready for my mobo yet.

Well this memory aint on the QVL list for my mobo but I took a gamble and set XMP and it works at 2933Mhz, bought it back at the beginning of Feb. for £82 on Ocuk sale.

Dark T-Force 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 PC4-24000C16 3000MHz Dual Channel Kit. @ £119.99

NB It is not that Samsung b stuff that folk are going crazy for. According to Thaiphoon its Spectek Inc (Micron).

I updated my CrossHair bios to 0082, and suddenly my required voltages for overclocks appear to have dropped on the Vcore. I'm currently doing testing to try and verify, but I've passed two hours of Aida 64 FPU and CPU test with an overclock of 4.125Ghz @1.4v.

Does anyone have a link to the latest version of Intel Burn Test that works with Ryzen? I feel like i must be missing something with this change in voltage and if its unstable i want to find that out quickly.

I'm guessing that's with an 1800X? My 1700 will do 3.8GHz at 1.35Vcore. Haven't pushed it further as I've only got an entry level liquid cooler (Corsair H55). Imagine I'd need 1.4V+ for 4GHz though.

Yep.

Well Intel Burn Test soon sniffed out instability. Looks like i now need 1.487v for 4.125Ghz. :D

Just tried those same setting on my ram, i have the same setup as you, works fine! latest 7A34v13 10th April bios

.Support AMD Ryzen 5 CPU.
- Improved system stability.
- Update AGESA to 1.0.0.4a.

So got 2400Mhz 16-16-16-39 to 2666Mhz 14-14-14-40. Not bad for £70 Crucial Ballistix Sport RAM for 16GB :D

Compared to my Trident @ 2666Mhz 14-13-13-34....

Great job there.

Hi Matt, do we have any new when the next AMD chipset drivers might launch? Keen to get hold of the Ryzen power profile but want to deploy it with the new chipset drivers.

Use Crimson 17.3.1 chipset drivers, those are the latest and work with the Ryzen Power Profile. We'll update them periodically, but not as often as display drivers.

OK, I'll just go ahead and download the profile manually. When new Chipset drivers do launch, is it easy to remove the power profile before installing the new drivers?

For anyone interested, Corsair 3200Mhz 16GB working at 3200Mhz straight out of the box with XMP Profile 2 on a MSI B350 tomahawk bios 1.3!

Now to drop timings

This memory kit CMK16GX4M2B3200C16

No need to bother with the expensive G.Skill Flare stuff.

Latency improved a lot, new scores, only 30ns to go to match the 7700k :D:

Gskill rgb :) these were pretty much the only way to hit 3200 not so long ago. It's nice to see things are coming along nicely.

I don't think anyone is hitting 3200Mhz with the RGB ones though. Seems to be mainly single rank samy b-dies.

EDIT: These are SK Hynix, not Samy B-Dies. Still worked at 3200Mhz out the box.

*Ahem* :)
The gskill rgb were THE ones to go for a little while back. The Corsair led are trash though tbh. 2666 was all i could muster and that was shaky
