Mine seems to love volts too - got to 900 @ 1.2 stable with Heaven and Crysis benchmarks. I'll see about catching you up tomorrow ;)

It Does..... Was hitting 920 @ 1.225 for the Heaven runs... bumped the score up quite a bit from the 725 stock.

Getting happier and happier with this card since I've sorted the .driver issues

Excellent news on the voltage tweak now working. Really makes this card fantastic value now. Much better than the £150 GTX470 anyway.

At 900/1200 it should basically match a stock HD5870.

Good find. It really is a shocking result that there isn't much difference between x16/x16 vs. x4/x4 for a single display @ 2560. Do try it and tell us about your result tummelv.

1 sata drive
1 ssd
4gb ddr3 ram

Since the extreme 5850s don't come with a crossfire bridge how will I know which size to get? There seems to be a few bridge sizes you can buy. If it helps the 5850's will be installed on a gigabyte p55a ud3 motherboard using the x16 x4 slots, pic:

edit: With my 5770 came a crossfire bridge ~75mm length. Is this the right size for my purpose?

edit2: I tried comparing it to the spacing on my mobo and it seems about perfect.

Seem to be running fine at 900/1200 now that the Trixx utility came out (couldn't get anywhere near that before).

Happy days :D
