The Sonos one is horse crap by comparison to a proper subwoofer.
It digs deep but quickly runs out of puff and doesn’t have the attack speed of a proper sub.
A good subwoofer will go deep and energise a room properly, be articulate with complex frequency transitions and hit hard. Usually you pick 2 but the Sonos Sub only does 1.
This is why some people, me included, feel the Sub Mini is better. It doesn’t go deep but it has good punch and is more articulate with the bass notes it does play. I.e. it isn’t a one trick pony.
Just a shame you can use two in a single setup.
Hence I want a beefier Sub Mini
