With regards to clans/guilds/organisations - can you 'share' your ships amongst them so that other people can use them when you are not online?


Also I've been reading on the SC forums that people with an account before Nov' 2012 get lifetime insurance (LTI) on their ships and some people on their buy them for others and gift them the ship so they get the LTI. Is that a common occurrence?

Im currently waiting to see what grand 'concept' ships pop up for sale, wish there was an alert system for it (?) so that I can either bag myself a cheap concept with LTI and trade it in for the C:Andromeda (as I understand the LTI transfers during upgrade) or may even find myself a really nice new dream ship!

In regards to ship sharing, You cant at the moment but you can hop inside your friends ship though and even fly it if you wanted too.

A couple of nights ago a random guy let me board his ship that looked to be half the size of the starship enterprise! it was HUGE!!!! he even let fly it hehe

Also little side question, every time I try and open the launcher it flags up the windows firewall to allow access.

The desktop icon even has the firewall icon overlaid on it, is there any way to permanently allow this app? Without having to turn off my firewall.

Thanks for the help with firewall Mtom, looks a bit complicated for me but I'll try and work it out later haha. It definitely didnt save the preference however as it asks every time I've tried opening the launcher :/

Either 2.4 or 2.5 added 'earning in game credits' (along with rudimentary persistence), in case anyone unaware thought that implied it wasnt in atm, and im pretty sure that 'more planets' is little more than 'planet shaped objects'.

I think the only real physical planet will be Delamar from Nyx. Thats a moon-like planet, bland & boring compared to the CitCon planet we saw (i dont think they said its name). Maybe they could add the CC'16 planet at some point, but the actual Stanton planets are likely to be too complicated to add them as physical planetary objects as you'd get to a certain height and expect to see telltale signs of those planets, and as they're all corporation owned and probably well built up, seeing nothing makes no sense. So i'd expect them to be added just like Crusader is now, just an planet-like orb you cant interact with.

Im not even certain that 3.0 will let us land at ArcCorp, just because its a more complicated landing process, it'll be an fixed flight path which auto-pilots you if you stray from that course - meaning 99% of the planet you cant access and doesnt need to exist beyond an LOD. That'll be harder to implement compared to Delamar letting you land anywhere and enter Levski.

His PHDs, his marital status, game sales, amount of money he has, where he lives, his abilities as a game developer.

Literally everything.

Plus, anyone who gives him any credibility by actually listening to him, is a moron, his own mish mash Havok and broken middleware game soup LOD, is currently 5 years late.

He has a also pre delayed it throughout the whole of 2017.

The guy is a premium quality *******.

Most of my Reddit upvotes from the past year are from R/Derek_smart.

He is currently squatting on the frontier forums spreading his FUD.

Goes even further than that with other devs. He has had the same MO all throughout including Freespace back in the day.

He tried to leverage his pledge to start legal proceedings with CIG. He asked CIG to refund him but then attempted to block the refund by providing incorrect details then accused CIG of denying him the refund. Tried to use this as proof to start a case against CIG for taking backers money. When CIG managed to refund him ( had the correct details ) he had nothing to stand on.

His game LOD has been in development for what 10 years, had early access status on steam and has changed 0 from the beginning yet he goes on tirades on multiple forums criticising CIG for there development.

What is worse is Kotaku even referenced this donkey dick.

Its funny anyone with a differeing opinion on that section of the ED forum tends to get banned LOL.

I actually read his content time to time for a few luls. :D

That subreddit is an amazing goldmine lmao.
