I'll be honest mate he's not a face I'll miss as I can't really remember him doing anything particularly relevant to the community, Chelsea was a far bigger loss and she wasn't on the shows.

I'm not criticising him though, just really not someone that I remember being particularly influential, nice enough chap but I can't honestly say what he did day to day with any certainty.

I've noticed the DS conspiracy folks are out in force, guess I'll avoid that sub-reddit and the CIG forums for a while lol :)
 
I'm not sure re-doing ships counts as mis-management, they got more skillful staff in, got more ambitious. Likely any mis-management would be over employing staff they didn't need etc but that seems to be in the process of being sorted out. I doubt job roles were particularly clear at the start though.
 
I don't like using my ignore list, those who believe what DS has been posting simply won't back the game, but probably wouldn't have anyway so nothing lost. They've read the click bait but haven't bothered researching whether it's true or not, that's not a member of the community I think we'll regret missing out on. I think the DS stuff has helped keep CIG awake though, as much as I think it's a pile of **** it may have a positive in the end.

I don't think CIG should be open about finances, the instant they do that they'll spend far too much time justifying every cent. We backed the game, doesn't give us any rights to see the internal finances of a private company.

Anyway Sal and I from PAGAN are at the Clayton Hotel (formerly bewleys) near the airport this weekend so hopefully bump into some OCUK people at the event or the pubs nearby!
 
It's not even ex employees, the main source is an employer rating website anyone can post to without verification that they actually worked there. That's pretty shaky.
 
Some of the information was leaked on Reddit months ago, most of the posts were deleted but a few are around if you dig. Names several people, I'm not going to repeat it though.

Still very much looking forward to it, shall be tweeterising (or whatever it's called) on https://twitter.com/raumarik if anyone is interested. INN are likely to be there so checking their site out is probably a good idea too :)
 
Grey it's still got a huge amount of optimisation to go through bud, later you can buy parts the better tbh.

Paul you were there? Shame we didn't meet up, SaL and I were both there and bumped into Smelly_legend amongst a few others :)

The Idris voice issues were mentioned by Chris at the time incidentally, he was expecting it to have problems but wanted to show it regardless. He gets abuse if he doesn't show stuff due to his belief in only showing a near-finished product, but gets it anyway when he forces himself to do it.

There's a little white pod in the hangar you can enter to go into "arena commander" which is essentially an in-game simulator of a game.. gameception!

Think hitting escape gives you that option too.

Grey market has a lot of risk involved especially with more valuable ships so you might want to check out a middleman (buyer pays him the cash, he holds it until you transfer the ship to the buyer), there's some pretty respectable ones on the star citizen trades subreddit.

Made a fair bit of money on the grey market, not really done any selling for 12 months + but it did pay for two holidays abroad,a new GPU and essentially mean I haven't put any of my own money into the game outside of citcon. :p
