It's been so long that I can't even really remember what was promised at the start lol. One of the things off the top of my head is the FPS. You can still see the original kickstarter here.

The original goal was 2 million. We are now on 100s of million and yet still no end in sight surely you can see the scope of what was orginialy kickstarted has gone widly over?

I can remember and the development scope stopped really growing since 2015(was last time something got added that was completely new mechanic). That's why I asked the last 5 years.

FPS is in game right? And was always part of it. Not sure what you mean with that tbh. There has been growth but a lot of what is shouted about as scope creep is just general development and ties into what they always gave as goals at the start.

There doesn't seem to be a large amount of change or growth since procedural planet tech and base building got added in scope around 2014-2015.

Thinking of this game made me go look and I have found my original Wing Commander IV DVD version which I think are quite rare. I know its on GOG for about £4 but this is the double sided DVD. Which probably wont work now.

They're "free" on Origin if you have Access as well. Don't think they've aged well, considered downloading IV but it's probably left in the fleshy memory banks

Can only find Wing Commander III on Origin for free. :( Wing Commander IV is only on Origin Access and it doesnt seem to be the DVD version. Actually you can buy it for £4.25

Might get it off GOG, only £4 thats def the DVD version.

Wing commander 3 was great... I still remember
Hobbes'betrayal.
I was genuinely gutted.
