From C. Roberts....No SQ42 in 2021, probably not 2022, potentially 2023.
They mentioned some of the core techs not added into the roadmap yet and will add them in JanuaryThere no mention of VR or Vulkan in that list. Are they still planned?
Would you rather have the mess of cp77 or a relatively bug free game?2023. lol.
O wow you tried it?Xeno Threat has been pushed back, they are going to keep trying in January, they are not giving up on it, it is incredibly good fun and has a "Wow" factor about it, its playable as it is but they want it to be more than that.
I really enjoyed it.

Did they delay it because of performances issue's or just some general bugs?
Be interested to know if massive space battles effected your frame rates.
No worries if you can't say

past caring at this point, and saying it's going to be about another two years doesn't change that. computer technology and ability will be a world apart two years down the line, this will probably look dated or they'll be playing a never ending game of catch-up. how many ships will be in the damn game by that point if thye keep up trying to fund this for another two years? And there is no guarantee it will be "realtively bug free". cb77 had approx 9 years development time [though google and wiki seem to wildly disagree] and look at that.Would you rather have the mess of cp77 or a relatively bug free game?

Just like how GTA 5 is 7 years old and yet many still play it and newcomers still buying it?past caring at this point, and saying it's going to be about another two years doesn't change that. computer technology and ability will be a world apart two years down the line, this will probably look dated or they'll be playing a never ending game of catch-up. how many ships will be in the damn game by that point if thye keep up trying to fund this for another two years? And that will come in about 2 years. They already building the tools needed to build settlements and with everything converting to icach so each item even a water bootle is tracked across servers is going to be awsome. Its very "Second Life" even without full persistence people are already building a virtual life in the game.
Just think when people are able to pick a spot somewhere to put down roots, build a home, find a belonging as part of an org, build a fleet, better yourself, help build that org into a faction, an empire, compete for resources, earn recognition.
Look at EVE Online, this game will be around for decades.

I could probably post equally 'encouraging' stats about Scientology....
